What are we willing to sacrifice in the name of art? Director Adam Dragun creates a solo performance intended to restore one man’s lost sense of purpose. Gradually, the boundaries between art and personal therapy begin to blur. The production comprises recordings, reconstructions, screen captures, and live action. ALEX exists on the edge between documentary and performance, at once a record of a creative process and a radical reflection on the meaning of theatre today. Its settings range from DIY offices and children’s bedrooms to a theatre stage which must meet the demands of fascists.
