An intimate performance for two actors, exploring the theme of fatherhood and family bonds. With gentle humour, a range of father figures gradually emerges on stage—authoritative, uncertain, loving. Fathers does not seek simple answers, but poses questions that reach beyond the family: how are the roles of men and fathers changing in today’s society? What models do we carry with us from the past?
The production is rooted in the storytelling craft of its two protagonists, gradually shifting toward a near-dialogue in which the audience feels as though it has become an integral part of this unique encounter.
