In the theatre project První rána kapitána -The First Strike of the Captain, two seemingly different worls, two teams encounter: TWO GENERATIONS. Like playing dodgeball, they encounter with authorities both from their past and their present. They are learning to face them, to find their inner voice, independent of people who formed this voice. The generations realise that their stories are similar in many aspects and some demons have been omnipresent for many years and for many generations.

Do you know how today’s teenagers grow up, what they experience and what they feel? How are their vision reflected in the generation of those in their thirties? Which fears do these two groups share? When will be someone’s voice finally heard? As the group 11:55, we approached creators a generation younger to find this out. In intergenerational teams, we play, create costumes, set design, music, and promotion. On one hand, we try to discover particular stories but at the same time, we aim to unfold how many of us share particular stories or situations. Sharing stories and finding one common solution of difficult situations give us strenght, the ability to stay on top of things and faith that that it is possible to change things when we know what to change.
